There are two school buildings in Takadanobaba. Since your class is determined according to the result of your placement test taken on the first day of a course, you can't choose a school building. There is a possibility that your class may move to the other school building in the middle of a course. Both school buildings are a seven to eight minute walk from JR Takadanobaba station.

Japanese Lessons |
|
You
will be able to gain up-to-date Japanese, as the class is
designed to improve mainly communication skills using our
original course material, as well as Japanese music, the
latest movies and animated cartoons. |

Sutudents
will be grouped according to the results of their placement
tests taken on the first day of the course. |

All
classes put emphasis on communication skills. |
- |
Levels:
5 levels (Introductory - Advanced) |

Class Hours:
9:30-12:50 (or 13:30-16:50)
There is a possibility that some lessons may be temporarily held in the afternoon
even if you are placed in the morning class. |

Maximum number of students per class: 20

Classes may include both every-day course students and summer-course students if their Japanese levels are the same. |

Activities |
|
Half-day and one-day activities such as visiting Ghibli museum, Asakusa, Odaiba, Edo-Tokyo Museum and Yokohama are planned. Japanese students, who are studying in our Japanese teacher training course, will accompany you on some activities. It's a chance to try your Japanese! |

you prefer to take Japanese lessons only, Every
Day Course is available. |

Certificate
of Completion:
|
|
"Certificate
of Completion" will be issued to students who obtain a good
record of attendance and test results. |

Send a completed Application for Admission and Agreement form and a copy of your passport to Sendagaya Japanese Institute by e-mail, fax or post. Applicants who are under 20 years old need to submit a Parental Consent for the Participation of Minor form as well. Our Japanese language courses are designed for people who are 18 years old and over. Applications are accepted on a first-come-first-served basis and space is limited. Early application is encouraged. |

You will be contacted regarding your application. If accepted, you will be notified to transfer the course fee to our bank account. |

After the remittance is confirmed, Certificate of Admission will be sent to you. |

Applicants are required to obtain the appropriate visa. |
|
Applicants on the temporary visitor visa are required to purchase overseas travel insurance in their home country before arriving in Japan. |
